Waste Water Treatment

Business Challenge
In our contemporary world, water bodies face escalating contamination from both daily and industrial wastewater discharges, presenting a critical challenge in our historical timeline that demands effective management. Acknowledging the pivotal role of automation in wastewater pumping systems, especially in remote areas, leading wastewater treatment companies recognize the need for innovation. One such wastewater controller manufacturer sought a comprehensive Cellular Communication Solution from Greenawell.
Technical Requirements:
The selected router must exemplify true industrial-grade capabilities, demonstrating resilience in the most hostile environments. It should establish a secure and reliable communication link between remote Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and the central Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) center. Engineers must have the ability to remotely access PLCs for programming and sensor data collection through the cellular router. Data transmission must be fortified with AES-128 Bit encryption. The solution’s post-installation performance should optimize labor resources.
Solution
Leveraging an in-depth understanding of the application, our expert engineers swiftly devised a solution. We proudly opted for the GW-210 Cellular Router, seamlessly connecting multiple sensors via RS485 controllers to transmit data to the SCADA center. Furthermore, the PLC interfaces with Ethernet ports, facilitating data transmission to the SCADA center through our robust 3G/4G HSPA+ network. Rigorous field testing substantiated their reliability, and we eagerly anticipate solidifying a Global Partnership Contract, aspiring to make significant contributions to wastewater treatment systems for the greater good
